Safety
At Michael F. Ross, Inc., safety in the workplace is of the utmost importance and our track record for on-the-job safety demonstrates the benefits of training and industry-leading safety practices.
A quality safety program is critical to ensure the safety of our employees and those around the work being performed. Upholding safety standards is more than a business issue; we believe it is our moral obligation.
We see a successful, comprehensive safety program as having four key elements:
Quality of our commitment to safety
We believe and live by safe procedures each and every day. Safety is everyone's responsibility, and we are all committed to keeping our workplace safe.
Quality of our personnel
We have dedicated personnel who commit themselves to performing their best. Staying informed on safety updates, they proactively build their knowledge on the subject. Most importantly, they continually refresh the knowledge of standard safety procedures no matter how long they've been in the business.
Quality of the program itself
This is the core of safety - a well documented and thorough program. Our program includes more than just a written program. It included extensive training in all aspects of safety on the job site, orientations, tool box talks, OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training programs, training for correct use of personal protective equipment, specialized equipment that may be project specific, and planning.
Quality of the verification
The best program is of little use if every employee does not adhere to the programs guidelines. With numerous levels of reporting and tracking we verify the program is been followed by everyone as intended.
